GZU GOSPEL SHOW. METHIAS MHERE

Zimbabwean most gospel artists Thembalami Tagwirei and Wellington Kwenda among others raised fans at Great Zimbabwe University Mashava Campus on the 1st May 2015.

The show commenced at 11 pm. Wellington Kwenda performed and was the first singer to light flames of joy at Chemberi Hall whereas (GZU) students were hopeless and restlessly waiting for entertainment since 6pm in the evening. Wellington's hit songs  was received by many students and it trigger vibrant dances as they were shouting loudly imitating what the singer is singing.

Wellington  handed over to Thembalami.  The show flowed gentle whereby the artists performed good. Within a short time of enjoyment students demanded for the most familiar musician Methias Mhere to finish the race.  This raises great commotion in the Hall when speaker of ceremony announced  that unfortunately the prominent song ''Favour' singer Methias Mhere was not available because of family issues. Students boycotted and shout insulting vulgar words to the Speaker of Ceremony.

The great noise at Chemberi Hall marked the end of the Gospel Show.

MADZIBABA ISHMAEL JAILED

Mufani Chokurongerwa populary known as Madzibaba Ishmael has been jailed yesterdae on allegation of leading attack on police sometime in May last year at Budiriro after they told him to disperse from the place.

Madzibaba Ishmael aged (43) wsa the leader of the religious sect Johanne Masowe Echishanu Apostolic at Budiriro. He was accused of breaching the constitution through storming the police officers when they told him to disperse from their worshipping place.

The magistrate Milton Serima charged 5years punishment to Madzibaba Ishmael and one year was suspended on condition of good behaviour. Madzibaba Ishmael left with 4 years in prison.
